A Protestant perform a worship. There is Mary's statue in a Catholic church, no statue in Protestant church. One people cross oneself, Another people have no crossing. We had a marriage belong Shinto and could conduct a funeral belong Buddhism. It look like a " Ambiguous ". From YEDO era (1600's to 1860's) there is for example
" Mary KWANNON " and
" Hachiman DAIBOSATSU". KWANNON and DAIBOSATSU are Buddhist saints and Hachiman is a guardian deity of archery based on Shinto. Some various kind of Gods are ambiguously mixed in Japan.
Recently, Many Japanese people have marriages in foreign hotels and churches. In Australia at churches e.g. in Cairns, Gold Coast, and Sydney. There is also in Opera House. At my stay hotel there was a fresh wedding couple from some church . I looked over it will be crowded soon, but there is only a couple. A bridegroom in white suit is photographing a bride with video tape recorder by himself. At old time we saw a wedding couple with no other people in movie " Graduation ". Essentially, I wonder a marriage is only for a couple. Relatives, friends, business relations, and no related me I wonder they may celebrate a couple by each other different methods. In Japan maybe in Australia a marriage is for a relation between house to house or religion to religion. After all,a couple decides couple.
In Brisbane, Australia there are over a hundred churches. In those churches there is a big church building for over ten years, and on other hand there is a church with only a lot. It seems one father raises a fund for construction of church and run away. In Japan there are more over 10 thousand religions. A founder of religion was arrested in charge with murder of people by poison gas and other methods. Religion is very difficult problem for me,but I hope people is very happy with religion.
Griffin with wing of eagle and body of lion is a guardian deity of City of Brisbane. In Japanese towns have no such deity. I am look like to be guarded by ambiguous deity. However I am not ambiguous believer. I pray in front of graves on Spring equinox , Bon Festival in Summer, Equinoctial week in Autumn , and New Year. I take good care of my ancestor not many gods. By method of talking with my ancestor I pray to many Gods. I am look like an ambiguous believer but never ambiguous one.I wonder a fresh wedding Japanese couple married in somewhere church could go to Shrine when they have baby. I wonder the couple could have a funeral with Buddhism. However, I believe that the couple has never ambiguous marriage.
I believe the couple is very happy above the religion.
A happy bride disappeared leaving uninvited anxiety.
