Ski is popular on winter sport in Japan.
History of ski as sport using instruments of ski board is unexpectedly up to date , it is heard to be about only a hundred years.
Olympic winter games in Sapporo Japan, gave me a strong impression on ski jumping event. Height of jumping stand overpowers spectators and I was moved by a human figure flying with wind. Hesitation of flying in approach of jumping means certainly death .
It is a desperate sport.

Ski is also popular on summer sport in Australia. Difference between winter mountain and summer sea, between on snow and on water concluded same desperate sport. After watching of water ski show, I could not stand for a long time with inspiring play. Human is conducted by strong tension of motorboat, and hold an exquisite balance in high speed. A slight looseness of power can not be allowed.
A mistake of momentary decision lead to death from jumping stand. I was extremely strained nevertheless only seeing. However, a water skier acted a pierrot was very crazy in Australian style and gave us a smile. He change my extreme stress to deep emotion.
A play is absolutely unable to be made in Japan. I can not explain which is different point, I feel basically spirit of humor. If someday winter snow ski show is held in Japan, we must please a play writer in Australia.

I saw a champion ship of America's cup on my way home. Only Australia wins America's cup except U.S.A. The champion ship is displayed with a proud but comfortable.
Japan also challenge America's cup with Nippon challenger team. On the information of papers, Japanese equipments and technical skills become proficient. They get used to a self-advertisement and protest in the event. I know it is serious desperate sport with a proud.
But I did not hear a joke in Japanese style. If Japan lose a game, I would like to hear humorous speaking.
From outside of the game I will be familiar and crazy to America's cup.

New Zealand won '95 America's cup. If Japan wins, next America's cup may be held in Gamagohri from San Diego. At Gamagohri harbor, world sailing boat titled "Erika" is displayed.
The family's daughter "Erika" in that boat attended schools at ports of call.
On that cultural exchange smiles were necessary with world around children .
I think it is true, but smiles are not equal to humor.
A Smile is overwhelmed from oneself , a humor gives smiles to someone.
I would like to have a humor like the crazy water skier has, but for getting a humor I need a lot of time, serious training and a reform of my spirit.
